Ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, polyarticular course juvenile idiopathic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis. Clinical selection for Etarnecept should follow culture results where relevant, Kenya STG/EML recommendations, and the current product SmPC. Warnings
Obtain allergy and medication history. Adjust for renal/hepatic impairment, pregnancy, lactation, extremes of age and interacting drugs. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest appropriate duration. Monitor for expected class adverse effects.
Possible side effects
URTIs, LRTIs, bacterial, viral and fungal infections, dizziness, headache, paraesthesia, allergic reactions, hypertension, wheezing, bronchial hyperactivity, alopecia, bone fractures, asthenia, pyrexia, injection site reaction, and GI disorders.
