Warnings
Myasthenia gravis; gradual withdrawal; elderly; hepatic dysfunction; renal dysfunction; anxiety with underlying depression disorders [as one of its side effects is depression]; infants; lactation; narrow angle glaucoma; obstet- ric during labour; diseases of obstruction of airways; psychosis [as one of its side effects is psychosis]. 1, 9
Possible side effects
Sedation; depression; vivid dreams; psychosis; suicidal tendency; hysteria; constipation diarrhoea; dry mouth; withdrawal reactions; dependence; paradoxical reactions; hepatic dysfunction; blood dyscrasia; menstrual irregularity; syncope; impotency; allergic reactions.
