What it is used for
INDICATIONS: Chromagen™ is a multivitamin/multimineral dietary supplement indicated for use in improving the nutritional status of patients with iron deficiency. Clinical selection for Glucosamine 500mg/chondroitin 200mg should follow culture results where relevant, Kenya STG/EML recommendations, and the current product SmPC. Warnings
PRECAUTIONS: Folic acid alone is improper therapy in the treatment of pernicious anemia and other megaloblastic anemias where Vitamin B 12 is deficient. Folic acid in doses above 1.0 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematologic remission can occur while neurological manifestations progress.
Possible side effects
Adverse reactions vary by agent. Counsel on common predictable effects and serious warning symptoms (allergy, severe rash, jaundice, unusual bleeding, severe GI symptoms, neurological changes). Report suspected ADRs via national pharmacovigilance channels.
